I have NEVER worn fake eyelashes (well I did on halloween once and they ended up halfway down my face so I swore off them!) but browsing so many other blogs as I do I saw how many ladies did wear them and pull them off so well!
I have the shortest, stubbiest eyelashes, I pick them out and am just generally really naughty about the whole affair, so here goes, me with long lashes!

| The word 'Naturalites' obviously made me think these would give me a natural looking lash and the 'evening, ultra glam' made me think they would be great for a night-out (not that I've been having many recently!). |

But for somebody who doesn't wear fake lashes I thought getting them on was super easy, the glue went on without any mess at all and stayed sticky long enough to me to fiddle about there to put them (I really am not a girls girl!). They stayed on for about 10mins before I got annoyed, felt silly and took them off :p

ReplyDeleteThe 107's are ridiculously long! I have a pair that I've never had the guts to wear out as they're far too dramatic. I really like the 101's - they're just the perfect length! I've used loads of different brands of fake lashes and these are by far the easiest to apply!

ReplyDeleteI wear eylure lashes whenever I go on a night out, 107's or 101's if I want something a bit less bold! You do get used to them, I hadn't used fake lashes till about 6 months ago and now I'm addicted! x

Honestly, I'm not just saying this, they look fantastic on you, really natural and definitely not too long at all. Once you get more used to them you'll love them. I only wear fake eyelashes on special occasions like my end of year ball for example and I swear by Girls Aloud Nadine - not too OTT, but thy really open your eyes up. I would recommend :) x

ReplyDeleteI think they look good on you, they are pretty long though! I have used the 20's and 70's and then the Girls Aloud ones, but every pair i've used have all been for fancy dress!

Woah they are much longer than they look in the box! I think the best ones are the Ardell wispies. They're really fine and look really natural, so maybe give those a go.
ReplyDeleteI have used fake eyelashes only once or twice - for a hen parties. I am wearing contact lenses and am a little bit paranoid with eye hygiene, so I decided not to buy the ones you tried on - with the glue, but to settle for (sadly) more expensive options - Revlon pre-glued. So it's simply like putting on sticker on your eyelashes. Considering I was already drunk when I was putting them on, they stayed whole night and looked great! :) X

Hubba hubba! I'm lucky cause I have naturally long lashes but I've worn fake ones 2/3 times before, I like them but find them so heavy!

false lashes can be fab to wear, eyelure and mac have the best lashes (and the best adhesive too). if you want your lashes to "grow" you should try latisse. you need a doctor's prescription for it, but it really works! (we got results in 3 weeks)

I managed to reach my 40's without ever wearing false lashes, but in a recent clearout I discovered three pairs in the bottom of a drawer that I'd forgotten I'd even owned! One pair of are the Naturalites 107's - but as they look so much longer on the eye than in the box, I think I'll try something a little less dramatic for my first time - so thanks! :)
