Each one is 3.75ml (just like the Katy Perry mini's) so they don't last long but you can get a good idea of if you like a shade enough to buy a full one.
I really love these three colours, their collection is alot bigger than these but from other swatches I've seen these three definitely stand out as the best.
The Texas collection is also the first OPI collection to feature their new sorbet formula, which is supposed to be more translucent giving a light-glossy finish, "similar to the look of icy, water-based sorbet." It totally works with the Do You Think I'm Tex-y and kinda with the Austin-tatious Turquoise, but not so much with the other.
I also had white-tips so the translucent-ness didn't work too great for me.
However, I will definitely be picking up the Austin-tatious Turquoise in a full bottle and I LOVE it! It's so shiny in the sunshine, it looks like the ocean.
Have any of you tried the Texas Collection?
Hope you all have a great Easter weekend if you are celebrating :)

(L-R) Austin-tatious Turquoise, I Vant To Be A-Lone Star, Do You Think I'm Tex-y, RapiDry Top Coat. £12 ASOS. |
Austin-tatious Turqoise is a gorgeous blue-green with a hint of glitter. The perfect Americana, cowgirl blue.
I Vant To Be A-Lone Star a really pale starry sky blue. So pretty.
Do You Think I'm Tex-y? A dahlia-pink colour, very hot!
RapiDry Top Coat is a super fast, long lasting, non-yellowing, high-gloss shine topcoat. Wow!
1st Coat. Please excuse my bad false nails! |

I love the turquoise and the pink shades, not too sure about the silvery blue though?!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new lover of O.P.I colours, I used to be a bit of a Barry M girl but they seem so shoddy in comparison!

ReplyDeleteLove the turquoise colour , OPI is the mother of all nail varnishes ! xx
ReplyDeleteOmg I love that pink, I had not seen this so glad you did a review. That's the thing sometimes a heap of people have done reviews but if you don't read there blog's you won't see it so it's always worth showing your reader. I still want to try the Katy Perry ones xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the turquoise one! really bright and great for summer! will be heading out to get that one!

I love the names that OPI give to their polishes, they're so cool! :D I Vant To Be A-Lone Star is lovely! xo
ReplyDeleteI don't like the sound of a translucent finish much myself personally- I wear a lot of really bright or dark colours and like them to look really opaque, else I think it just looks messy and streaky. I warn you though, the RapiDry does dry your nails quickly- but it also means they chip pretty fast. I still haven't found a fast drying top coat that doesn't impact on the nail varnish in other ways.
ReplyDeleteWow, that all sounded very negative! To end on something more cheery, I really love how they do these little 'tester' kits. It is really useful just to be able to try them out.
I LOVE the pink one, the white one looks a bit 'off' there! x
ReplyDeletethe pink one is the one calling my name but its not so original.
ReplyDeletevery nice :)
ReplyDeletei hadn't seen these yet. hopefully i will find some on my holidays in singapore.
I like the red one the best!
ReplyDeleteI have a quite serious OPI addiction. I LOVE that turquoise. I don't think anything will beat the Russian collection for me though!
ReplyDeleteAll of them are really good!!
ReplyDeleteim actually partial to that - i want to be a lone star. i think it just looks like it goes on so well, and has a nice milky coat to it. god i think i just killed my love for it with the word milky...
ReplyDeletefantastic review as always babe xx
The Austin-Tacious on looks amazing! It's definitely going to be on my to-buy list!
ReplyDeleteRhiannon xx
wah these are beautiful! love the turquoise xx
ReplyDeleteI love the turquoise one too! But I think the names of the nail varnishes are are pretty funny (in a bad way!) xx
ReplyDeleteI love the pink colour here, it's such a gorgeous colour :) I need to experiment more with my nails though so I may try the turquoise :)

Oooo I saw this collection the other day and only really thought the turquoise looked good but that was just from glancing. Looks really lovely on nails too, so might have to be adding that onto my shopping list :P

The turquoisey-blue one is such a gorgeous colour, it's definitely my favourite of the three. I've never tried OPI before but it always gets great reviews so I think I'll have to purchase some next time I'm doing an ASOS order!
ReplyDeleteD'awwww they so pretty! Super cute, I have asked for some OPI's for my birthday. The only ones I've had is the alice mini's, and yeah they didnt last too long which I was a bit gutted about :( Hope the easter bunny was good to you gal, and youve had a nice weekend xx
ReplyDeleteI really like the I Eat Mainley Lobster one from one of the America collections, I don't know if it is the same collection these are from, think I might have to pick a couple up! I tagged you in an award thingy on my blog sweets xx
