It's thats time of year again...

...to get your party frocks out! Christmas work do's and festive family parties are all starting to happen...umm...now! I'm never prepared for the holiday season, I've only bought one present and refuse to put the decorations up until mid-December! I work all day 5 days a week now too so it's hard to even get a look in the shops!

I'm sure I will be taking part in some festivities though and here are some highstreet party dresses I have my eye on:

Motel Gem Dress - £39.00
I love this, it's sparkly and I can imagine would totally flatter your figure!

Zara Leopard Print Dress - £69.99
Huge price tag but I love the shape!
Vero Moda Chiffon Bow Top Pencil Dress -  £24
The teal colour is gorgeous and the little bow adds cute detail.

River Island Black Beaded Dress - £30
Love beaded details right now plus it has an elastic waist for lots of food and drink ;)

Topshop Chiffon Embellished Panel Skirt Dress -  £50
Love me a bodycon and love how this looks like a skirt/top combo. If only I was rich!

What dresses do you have your eye on? Are you doing anything fun over the next 4 weeks?
I have a Christmas Ball coming up next weekend so really need to chose something to wear!

Hope you've all had a great weekend!

  1. I think the zara one will look beautiful on you! I have my eye on a sheer-ish peter pan dress from topshop but i doubt i can get that because of the price tag muhahah ):

  2. Well obviously the first one is made for me it's called Gem, but I really love the third River Island option. I saw a beautiful strapless velvet twist dress in asda today, think I'm gonna get that for crimbo parties, it was like a mulberry colour xxx

  3. The leopard print style is my fave and I think it'd suit you perfectly! I've seen loads on asos at the moment, but am going to try and make do with what I have already...that's not to say I couldn't be tempted with the right price reduction for a certain lace maxi dress...

  9. I honestly had such trouble trying to find a dress for my besties birthday night out! :( I think it was that typical 'because I need one/have money to buy one I am not going to see ANYTHING, ANYWHERE!' so I'm a bit nervous about trying to find a nice christmas outfit in fear that all the nice stuff will hide from me. So thank you for the awesome inspiration to get me started :) xx

  13. Oooh, I'm a sucker for leopard print! I've got my eye on a couple dresses but like you I don't have the time to go looking for them. I've got a work do coming up but that's about it. Hope you start to feel the festive joy soon haha. Have a lovely week.

  14. I'm not usually a big fan of leopard print but I'm really liking that Zara dress! The price is a bit off-putting though. Really like that black River Island one too :) xo

  25. Finding the perfect party dress is always such hassle, esp as I normal try to find one that I can easily style differently and wear to numerous parties this season. Love the bottom topshop one.

  33. The first one is beautiful - can't beat a bit of sparkle at Christmas!

I'm going for a 60's vibe for the work Christmas do this year - picked up a pretty teal dress dead cheap in Primark and now I just need to learn how to beehive my hair and put eyeliner on properly!
