If it hasn't been VERY apparent (what with all my posts on the subject) I LOVE lipstick! So it would be wrong for me not to pick one up. I've never used Barry M lipstick before (or Lip Paint as they call it) so as a huge nail polish fan of theirs I decided to try:

| The colour I picked up was the first I saw, a new colour named 'Pink Ribbon' , the others I kept seeing were nuts things like Robot Blue and that isn't for me! £4.25 without discount. |

| Here is it on! It's just a plain simple pink which is nice for those days when I'm not into wearing alot of make-up. It has good lasting power, I can certainly see why they are called 'paints' |
I'm a huge nail polish fan, especially Barry M, you can't go wrong it's cheap, it lasts and they have so many to chose from. Recently they bought out the 'effects' nail paint, which the world has gone nuts for (including me) but also 2 new A/W shades - 'Dusky Mauve' and 'Indigo'.
I only picked up one, and the one in question is the 'Dusky Mauve'. Apparently this is a dead ringer for the Chanel

ReplyDeleteall i've used is their nail polish, but these look good! i have a couple of MAC lipsticks, but if i need more, i'll def check these out x
ReplyDeletei've only got one of the lipsticks, no. 52 which is just a ridiculous pink. i want to try some more though like the lavender & peach which are harder colours to find in other brands. pink ribbon looks lovely though!
ReplyDeleteI need to get that nail polish! Keep seeing it everywhere. The lipstick looks like it would be really bright but actually isn't, I'm going to keep that colour in mind. I love Barry M but find the site so annoying as the images are so small you can't see the colours properly!

I wish Barry M was available in the States. I hear great things about that brand!
Beautiful colors. That lipstick looks amazing on you. I love that simple pink color. Simple not too bright pinks are my favorites.

ReplyDeleteght be a massive copy cat and buy it ;) mua ha ha! here, youre looking hawt in your glasses miss! what do you need them for? apart for seeing with, doh... I am tv blind, cinema blind, black/white board blind (basically, far-ish away things!) and also reading the metro over peoples shoulder on the train. just cant do it any more without screwing my eyes up and getting a major headache. boy oh boy.

I tend to find Barry M nail paints go gloopy after a few months which puts me off. Haven't tried the lipsticks though but I love the one you've got so I might check it out! :)

ReplyDeleteThe lip paints are gorgeous. I always try wanted to try them, but just never taken the leap because some of the other products look a bit garish. I love the range of colours they have and pink ribbon is just perfect. It seems like a really easy colour to wear!

ReplyDeleteI love Barry M stuff - there's such an amazing range of colours! I've got two of the lip paints, I think one's called Coral and the other's called Peachy Pink - they're both lovely colours but I find them quite drying, I always have to wear a lot of lip balm underneath. I do love the Nail Paints though - that Dusky Mauve colour is fab, and it does look like Paradoxal (not that I've actually got it - I'm not spending £16 on a Chanel polish when you can get identical ones for so much cheaper!) xxx
I've never tried Barry M ! It's a British brand yes ? I'm not sure if we can find it in Australia ! Looks very good on you ;-)
