MAC Gel Eye-Liner - review.

My mum went away this weekend to London and as a treat (I assume for leaving me alone/looking after our animals) she asked me if there was anything from MAC (there are no counters around these parts) while she was up there. I've been after a gel eye-liner for ages so what took the opportunity to ask for the MAC gel eye-liner (and she also got me the brush too, I'm very lucky!):

MAC Fluidline Eye-liner Gel in Blacktrack.
MAC 210 Precise Eye-Liner Brush.

It goes on really smoothly and easily although I recommend using the correct brush (or a very thin brush) as you only need a little and that little bit goes a LONG way.

As you can see it comes out quite dark. In the pot you get 3 grams, I've only used it twice now and I know it will last me forever!

This is me at the end of the day today after wearing it to work, I haven't touched it up. It holds SO well and doesn't smudge. Not too sure if its waterproof yet but a new episode of Glee is on tomorrow so I'm sure I will find out watching that!

Not much else to say except it's amazing, definite value for money, goes on like a dream and stays on all day. So happy with this product after 2 days of owning it I don't think I will go back to liquid liner!

What is your favourite eyeliner?

Eyeko Magic Mascara review.

If you missed it click HERE to see pt.1 of my Eyeko 25% off buys and here is pt.2.

I've been needing a new mascara for a while and I remember when I was about 15 I used an Eyeko one I loved, so I impulse bought this, the Eyeko Magic Mascara, something I wouldn't normally do but this has diamante-style sparkles on the casing.

As I said in my previous post I just love how everything comes packaged, this is the Mascara with a sticker I got in my package.

I have really short eyelashes that are prone to snapping/falling out and alot of mascaras' tend to make me want to pick at my eyelashes (unfortunately this is also true of my favourite mascara Lash Stiletto by Maybelline).
Here are my lashes before application:

The brush is nice and thick on the Eyeko Magic Mascara, as my lashes are so short this makes it hard to get into the corners. This is good as when it comes out of the tube all excess mascara is wiped off only leaving you with what you need, so it's nice and light on the lashes.

As you can see there is a nice defiant black colouring difference but no excess mascara to encourage me to pull my eyelashes. You can also see how I can't get into the corner lashes so good.

What is your favourite mascara? I've seen alot of new ones out with added growth treatmens so maybe next time I'll pick up something along them lines (after seeing blog reviews of course!).

Eyeko Rain Polish.

Last week Eyeko had 25% off your order, so I snapped up this opportunity and picked up their 'Rain Polish' and a Eyeko Magic Mascara (review coming tomorrow).

First of all I LOVE Eyeko and how they package everything, it came in a cute bag with 2 stickers and a free gift code!

Rain Polish - For City Nails - £3.50

I really love this colour, it's a blue/grey - basically the colour of a cloudy, rainy city day!

The polish definitely needs 2 coats but it goes on smooth and easy with a great brush and dries fairly quickly. Next up I really want to try the Eyeko Cosmic Polish and ChiChi Polish.

Also I have a really bad topcoat so I was wandering what your favourite topcoat is so I can give it a try! :)

Hope you all had a great weekend!
