A Bizarre Christmas.

I've said it once and I'll say it again (like right now) I love handmade! I enjoy originality and uniqueness, my favourite way is through accessories and jewellery they make outfits complete and even if you are wearing a dress everyone else has you can turn the outfit into your own.

Christmas is around the corner for those who celebrate it and I've found some awesome Christmassy handmade jewellery at Raffles Bizarre:

Christmas Tree Brooch - £4.00
So cute I love the little pearl detail!

Gingerbread Man Necklace - £4.00
One, two three everybody...AWW!!

Gold Star Earrings - £2.00

Silver Snowflake Earrings - £3.00
Now I can't wear earrings (well I can wear 1) 'cus I have huge goff holes 'cus I'm a giant greeb BUT these are soo cute!

Santa, Deer, Snowman Tree Decorations - £6.00
Awesome wooden decs, haven't really seen anybody else doing these it's a brilliant idea!
The gorgeous Jess from Raffles Bizarre told me that she started it up back in 2007 as a hobby and approach making jewellery in very creative and experimental ways such as using burnt vinyl and cds's to create individual pieces.

I will do another post in the new year showing you some of the other things, I'm totally in love with 'Circus' range probably as a hangover from the Britney Spears 2009 tour :P

Hope you're all ok and surviving this cold snap!!

Crown and Glory.

I love handmade goods! There is nothing better than having totally unique items you know you can wear proudly and know you are probably not going to bump into the same girl wearing the same thing (isn't it awkward). I came across Crown and Glory when the lady behind it all, Sophie, added me on twitter and we got chatting, I immediately got excited as soon as I checked out the site - handmade hair pieces!

Sophie told me that Crown and Glory is made all by herself and is just a passion she has and loves to do in her spare time. This is also how I feel about my blog so here's to a dedicated Crown and Glory post!

Here are some of my favourite bits from the site:

And here is my piece:

Beautiful packaging - it also had sweets in yum!

Orlaith Comb - £6
I've never used a comb piece in my hair before, I adore it! It stays in for ages!

What do you think? What items do you like?

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and nobody has been blown away by this insane wind we are having in the UK!
Peace
x

EDIT: - if you type in 'COWBISCUITS' at the checkout you can get 15% off your order! This is until the end of December!
