I thought I'd share with you a few little pals I've encountered in the past few weeks:
|
Little pal I found on a walk. |
|
Big Ol' Toad who's been in my garden. I think he had a friend but he got eaten by a cat :S |
|
I found two of these guys crawling up my wall, they are so softy! |
|
Prince bought home this frog. I saved him bathed him and then let him go. He had a goo old swim about in my bath and you can see the video HERE. |
Sorry its such a short post I've been crazy busy - today I had a NARS make-over so I can't wait to show you all about that!
Have a good one!

I love discovering creatures unexpectedly! I lifted a big plank up in my parents garden last week and it had 3 toads huddled under it! Try lifting up corrugated sheets that farmers have left under pheasant feeders because you often find a little mouse or vole hiding under there :)

Ahhh too cute! I rescued 3 baby frogs at work earlier in the week. Sadly two of them didnt make it as we found them in the play house (I work in a primary school) yesterday, but hopefully one survived! I just love frogs haha

ReplyDeleteAww this is sweet! Takes me back to my childhood - I used to watch frogs around a pond at school and hold them.. haha! xx
ReplyDeletei'm such a wimp, my skins tingling just looking at these! it's so sweet that you saved one though :) x
ReplyDeleteI am also a cat owner and I find myself in a dilemma. I love little creatures like frogs and toads and want them to live in peace, but I also love my two cats, who are little monsters. In the words of my friend's (crazy cat lady) mother - "It's hard being a cat mummy sometimes." haha x
ReplyDeletePhew - well done on the frog rescue. And the photo of the teeny tiny frog reminded me of a walk a few years back with my younger brother. It became an extremely slow walk as we tried to avoid stepping on any of the hundreds of small frogs we suddenly encountered, made even slower by my brother carefully encouraging them to hop into and over his hand.
