First up, I had been asked last week to do a interview with Tuesdai for her blog '...a reflection by Tuesdai' - you can see my interview HERE!

Now, I have a trip to Paris in the next 2 weeks so I'm saving hard. Everything I love has been put on a wish-list that, unless somebody else wants to buy me them, will be on the wish-list until I win some kind of lottery (not the Nigerian one i keep getting emails about!)

So here is my wish-list:

PPQ Emmanuelle Steamcream - in limited edition kitty tin!
£10 - via ASOS.
Velvet Drape Tailored Shorts - amazingly cute velvet shorts
£24.99 - via River Island

Jacquard Cape - I love the little wolf print on this, I want it more than anything!
£40 - ASOS

Cable Wool Over Knee Socks - so cute with shorts and heels, going to buy come pay-day
£6 - via ASOS
AERIAL Lace Up Ankle Boots - been on my wishlist for the past 6 weeks, LOVE these!
£55 - via ASOS

Which do you like?

Also I have a HUGE favour to ask all my lovely followers - anybody who has been to Paris, if you could tell me things I MUST visit, see and do, any recommendations really, I'd be forever grateful! Comment here or drop me an email: nfgchimp@hotmail.com

Have a great weekend!

Ga-spiration

With inspiration drawn from Lady Gaga in the September issue of Vanity Fair, I decided to give the 'Old lady' grey/purple rinse a go!

As you can see the gorgeous Gaga has a full head of colour, however, last time I dyed my hair I got told by my manager to 'get rid' - so this time I made sure I didn't do the whole hair and only parts:

These pictures don't do it justice, my bangs look a more grey colour and the sides with a little more of a lilac tint. I love it! I wanna do my whole head but I'm giving it the boss test-run tomorrow.

I used "Virgin Snow" by Manic Panic (which is actually a toner) you can pick it up HERE at Hairbomb, who give very good customer service and fast delivery.

What colour have you dyed your hair before? What colour do you want to dye it?

Dazzling Eye Drops - Beauty review.

Dazzling, whiter eyes? Yes please!
Browsing the shelves of Superdrug I spot these:

Optrex Eyedew Dazzling Eye Drops!

Excited just by the thought of having dazzling eyes I just had to pick up, at £3.99 I was a bit wary seeing as I'm putting this in my eyes but as soon as I got back to work my manager commented on how she can't live without them and "these and a coffee are my go-to for anything!".

With anything going in your eyes you have to make sure you follow instructions and not over-do it, on the back of the packet just to use 1-2 drops and no more than 4 times in 24 hours.

So, let's see if they work!

Before.

After.

Left side used; Right side not.

I can see a definite difference, redy/yellowness is instantly whitened and they made my eye feel more 'awake' (I did this as soon as I woke up). The drops come out blue I thought I'd have blue eyes for a while but it instantly goes away with a couple of blinks, no stinging and hardly any watering - however I would put on BEFORE your make up!

I can see why these are my managers 'go-to' and now I'm hooked!
Go to the Optrex site (here) for any more details and they are also available in 'Sparkling'.

I'm off for a day now to spend time with my friends and be merry - if you catch my drift ;)
Have a great night!

Makin' Mushrooms.

Using the wonderful LucyKateCraft's tutorial - found HERE - I created my own little toadstool/mushroom thing!

First up is the stalk, I used a pink paisley print fabric scrap, turned it inside out and filled with stuffing and a small pebble in the bottom to keep balance.

Then I used some turquoise embroidery thread to compliment the pink and sewed up the bottom with a felt base.

To make the top I had to cut a hole in the bottom half of my fabric (I chose turquoise again) for the stalk to fit in.

I then used a blanket stitch to sew the top and bottom fabrics together and filled with stuffing.

I then attached the stalk to the top just using embroidery thread. It looks messy but thats because I have little patience when it comes to thick thread and a small needle!

Here it is! Obviously I'm going to make a few more to get some practice and hopefully it will end up looking as cute as LucyKateCrafts!

What cute things do you like making?
I had a bit of a spree today on my lunch break so expect a shopping post tomorrow!
Have a good night

Weekend Nails + Treats!

I didn't have work on Saturday so me and the boyf decided to go charity shopping (I didn't get anything) and spend too much money on American sweets and drinks - Twinkies' are my new favorite treat!

Here were my polka-dot nails for that occasion:

Poolside Blue - No.7
Snow White - Models Own

Then today I had work and conveniently changed my nails for that occasion too:

Barry M - Mint Green
Barry M - Pale Blue

As you can see it's been a relaxed sort of weekend, my mum however popped to Totnes and got me a couple little treats:

Cute Paris postcard.
(I'm going to be there in 3 weeks I'm SO excited!
Rumor has is Madonna is going on the same day - Hey Madge!)

This wonderful pearlescent clam mirror that I've been hankering after for ages.
Thankyou mum!

What did you get upto this weekend?
Don't forget I'm only 15 followers away from a giveaway! Also did you notice my new header? It's great having a boyfriend who is a graphic designer - and no charge at all! :P
