New Outfit - Velvet Skirt.

Just a quick one to show you all my new skirt in that love or it hate fabric - VELVET!

Apparently (or so the magazines tell us) velvet is huge this A/W, so I decided to give it a whirl:

You can't see that it's velvet - but it is!
Primark - £5

The shirt is an old one my boyfriend bought for me - owls, multi-coloured triangles, need I say more?

I'm currently not very well so apologies for the small post, also I have to decide on a pair of boots whether I like them best in Brown or Black - I'm SO stuck!

New Outfit - Tapered Trousers.

Thankyou for all the comments on my last new outfit post, some of them made me laugh I didn't know wether to take offense or what at some of the comments! Anyway lets move on to the next one:

Tapered trousers are everywhere right now! I had some in the summer that were linen (with a paperbag top) but wanted some for winter too.

Trousers - Zara
£29.99

They fit really well, I rolled the bottoms up to give them the tapered end effect.

The trousers came with a thin tan belt - which is obviously an excellent added bonus!

The shoes:

Nude courts - Primark
£10

So there is part 2 of my mini spree, I have some amazing boots to show you soon, aswell as one more purchase!
Hope your weekend has been fun filled and you've all wrapped up warm!

New Outfit - Leopard Print Playsuit.

Been a little naughty recently and bought some new clothes and shoes, despite needed to save every little penny for Dollars - which is another bit of news, me and my friend decided to spend my 21st in New York City! So off we go Jan 3rd for 7 days and nights, NY is my favorite place and this will be my 3rd time there.

Ok back to my new outfit:

Leopard Playsuit, Primark - £13
Chain cardigan, H&M - £24.99
(as seen in my H&M online post!)
The playsuit is a size 8 yet you need HUGE boobs to make it fit the chest (which I don't have!).
I've managed to safety pin it from the inside.
Peach Brogues, Primark - £8

What have you been spending too much money on recently?
I do have more on the way - oops!

MAC lip treats.

The best thing about your mum going on holiday for a week and leaving you to look after all the naughty animals? The presents!

Obviously I got the usual foreign sweets but what I didn't expect was some lovely M.A.C lip goodies!

M.A.C Satin lipstick - a classic bright red-blue in 'Mac Red'.
M.A.C Lip Conditioner - Soft petroleum based (but not gloopy like a vaseline) perfect for a base under lipstick on winer lips.
Just the lipstick on it's own.

With the conditioner underneath. It gives it a glossy look which is in all the magazines as going to be HUGE this A/W.

I love them both and how I can go from matte to glossy just by combining the products. So thankyou mum!

Tomorrow is the last day you can enter my giveaway (click HERE) so hurry!!

Also today I won an Eyeko competition and won the book 'The Queen of New Beginnings' - I never win anything so I'm very happy :)

High School Spirit!

First of all this post is totally inspired by the lovely Ivonne over at i just nod.
I'm 20 and British so the never go to the American high school thing you see in films. I'm a huge nerd for anything musical too and I've already done a Glee inspired post so now it's time to do a High School Musical post. Heck yes (see i told you I was a nerd!).

Obviously the films are cheesy as hell, aimed at small children BUT do contain to beautiful eye candy that is known as Zac Efron - and I LOVE them (and him)!!

Images via: here and here.
Here are the 2 main characters, Troy and Gabriella (Zacs IRL girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens/Bitch :P) and now here is my take on their characters high school style:

I was given the T-shirt by my boyfriend who once went through a Troy Bolton faze - American Apparel
Shorts - Primark
Sports socks - American Apparel
Vans Authentics - Office
What films are your guilty pleasures?
Also you have 2 days left to enter my giveaway so go go hurry! (Click HERE)
Hope you've all had a great weekend.

Betty Hula!

Recently the lovely Betty Hula offered us bloggers the chance to sample some of the lovely products they have to offer, I of course snapped up the chance and here is my review:

The Secret Anti Aging Oil
Kiwi and Lime Shea Butter
Now I'm 20 so I'm hoping I don't need anti-aging oil, but I gave it a go on my 'laughter lines', no improvement yet on the eyes BUT a great improvement on a line on my forehead (which is more likely from frowning).

It comes out as a light brown oil but has a similar feel to Elizabeth Arden Advance Night  Repair and drys just as quick without leaving a oily feeling on the skin. I have oily skin as it is so didn't apply alot.
I can't even explain the smell to you, it's like KeyLime Pie and I just want to eat it!
Also comes in Rum & Blackcurrant and Champagne and Spice - I NEED to try these!
Looks and feels like a Souffle, really light and fluffy but very moisturising. Lasts for ages!
Now until Monday (20th) Betty Hula have 25% off everything so head on over to www.bettyhula.co.uk.

Don't forget to head over to my giveaway (HERE) you only have 4 days left so go go go!

Animal Prints pt.1

I'm a total sucker for anything with a cute animal on!
There are lots about at the moment but I've been going strong with the animal theme for a long while now, so here is the first part of my favourite items I own with an animal on:

I got this from my boyfriend last Christmas.
I LOVE hamsters, they are my favourite animal.

This is by Art Disco, it's probably my favourite jumper ever!
Aztec + Owl = sweet sweet joy!

Do you own anything with a animal pic on? Most importantly...whats your favourite animal?!
