Halloween Decorations with Tiger

Hello!

Well we have hit October which is the BEST month, the leaves all turn, the weather gets colder and it's Halloween!

You may remember previous years where I decorated my whole flat, well now i have a house and less enthusiasm about taking it all down! I hope to go do the Pick Your Own Pumpkin thing again this year and re-do the corn maze there too!

I picked up a couple bits from Tiger this year and have some left overs from previous years to do a little decorating in the front windows and here they are:

tiger stores halloween decorations
Black Cat Lantern - £2
Black Cat Flashing LED Head - £1
The cutie cross-stitch tray is also from Tiger, I think it was £2 too!

I adore Halloween, I get to get my Ghost jumper out and have a huge array of Halloween theme socks! I also love dressing Prince up as I have every year although this year he may not be as forthcoming as he's 3 now and a little bit more independent (still a soppy mummys boy though!)

I posted last year about how the great the ASOS Halloween range of Halloween treats and they have not disappointed again this year either!

I'm not sure of my plans quite yet, probably junk food and cheesy horror movies. At work we are having a Black Cat Day to appreciate all our beautiful black kitties who get overlooked for other colours so if you are in the area PLEASE come along!

What are your Halloween plans?

ASOS offers Next Day delivery so theres still time to get some last minute shopping in from your sofa!

These items don't even necessarily have to be just for Halloween either I would definitely wear them all year round :P

Halloween Costume for You and Your Pet: Devils.

matching halloween devil costume for cats dogs pets humans

Hello!

I now have my laptop back and I am so happy!
I have a couple Halloween themed posts coming up and I'm kicking off with this awesome costume post where me and Prince dressed up in matching outfits (kinda like Lucille and Buster on Arrested Development, maybe we will win an award?).

If you want to dress up and get your pet involved too then ASDA have awesome dog and cat Halloween costumes (I got Prince an XS dog and it fits him great) that you can also find in their adult halloween costume section too!

You may remember last year when I dressed Prince up as a Skeleton and the year before he was a tiny baby so wore a little cape. I chose the theme Devils for us this year, let me show you my costume first :

devil costume for women
Halloween Glitter Cape* - £6
Devil Horn Wig* - £4
devil halloween eye makeup
As my cape had a Green glitter effect to it I thought I'd do Green make-up too (which also goes well with the Red hair)
I used the new Atomic lipstick from MakeUp Revolution in 'Serpent'* - £1
And a Green shadow from the I Heart MakeUp Palette 'I Heart Passion'* - £7.99

Now for Prince's Devil costume:

Pet Devil Halloween Costume* - £4
Halloween Devil Costume for Pets Dogs Cats
Cat devil costume

As you can see Prince was thrilled to be dressed up haha!
I actually haven't got as excited about Halloween this year, I think it's because I've fallen out of love with my flat and don't want to be here anymore so can't be bothered to decorate it, I will put up a few on the weekend to get the feel and maybe I'll get into it a bit more!

What are you dressing up as for Halloween? And will you dress up your pet?

Topshop Make-Up Lip Marker Review.

Due to a heavy Hallowe'en weekend I gave myself the weekend away from blogging to rest from the madness, I had tonnes of fun and will be doing a post in the week when pics are uploaded (I didn't take my cam and my friend forgot hers).

Today I was in Topshop buying my Christmas present from my mum - IT'S THIS. Awesome.

I saw some new products in the make-up range, they've actually been around for a month or so now but one item that caught my eye was the Lip Marker (I'm pretty sure it's part of the new Heavy Duty range anyway) - there was no tester but I felt brave so just bought it:

Lip Marker in 'Berry' - £7.50
When I opened it, I was like WOW because it looks like a felt tip!
I had heard this was a 'lip stain' so wanted to give it a go after reading THIS article.

You can wear the lip marker alone or add it to a layer of lipstick to add drama and give it a lasting effect.
Here I wore it alone:

As you can see it is a really bold red, however achieving full coverage was quite hard (mainly on the top lip).
I think I would re-try this marker with a lipstick underneath or over because straight after these pics I ate Pomegranate (like an animal with my hands might I add) and the marker had gone! I do love the 'stained' look, the only thing with this marker is I'd be worried about how long the pen will last as there is no way of telling and you have to apply alot for full coverage.
Oh and it smells and tastes like berries which is great!

Hope you all had a great Hallowe'en, what did you go as?

Wildlife Explorer Chic.

For this outfit post I channelled the little boy from the Disney film 'Up!', the outfit is actually a bit of a H&M fest as you will see:

I bought the shorts, scarf and brooch whilst in Manchester 2 weeks ago.
Also a BIG thankyou to the amazing Victoria for editing my pics for me because I'm so thick!
Hi-Waisted Camel Shorts H&M - £19.99
Black Top H&M - £2.99
Aztec Scarf River Island - £6
Squirrel Brooch Miss.Selfridge - £2
Cardigan H&M - £24.99
Yes my animal obsession continues! He was only £2 how could I say no?!

The reason I said I felt like the little boy from 'Up!' is because the shorts are Hi-Waisted and a Kaki-Camel colour plus I wore my little Squirrel badge so I felt like a child again going for a bit of an explore - all I needed was a backpack!

I went to see 'The Social Network' last night, I did enjoy it I wouldn't go as far as alot of the reviews and say it's the best movie of the year but nevertheless it was enjoyable. My only complain is Justin Timberlake needs to get back to singing and cut his hair - It's very *Nsync circa 1999.
Have any of you seen it? What did you think?

Hope you are all ready for Halloween, I'm so excited I can't wait to post pics of my outfit (fingers crossed it looks good!).
