Miss Patisserie - Baths for Babes!

Oh hellloo!

This was a long time coming post. I've been so knackered on my days off and after work that I've been doing housework and sleeping pretty much!

Anyway I've raved about Miss Patisserie before HERE, they are a local bath and body company who are vegan, cruelty free and paraben free and now have their very own store in Cardiff! I have been there but totally forgot to take any pictures so hopefully I'll go back soon and take my camera for some snaps because it is SO lovely. It's so fresh and neat inside and the day I was in was when the two owners (a gorgeous looking husband and wife duo) were in and they are such lovely people too!

SO I thought I'd share my purchases with you guys today and talk a little about why I love them so much:

Coral Bay Body Scrub.
Walnut Stone Face Mask.

The Coral Bay body scrub smells like the original Issey Miyake perfume which is one of my faves. I love the little jar it's in, its great for keeping on the side of the bath without getting water in which is my bath pet hate! Besides it smelling absolutely wonderful it also leaves your skin feeling SUPER soft - like seriously soft! I usually find scrubs way too harsh but this leaves me so so soft.

The Walnut Stone face mask is made from Moroccan clay which helps brighten the skin. You just put a little of the powdered mask into a bowl and add a couple drops of water which turns it into the mask, leave it on for 20mins and then rinse it off. I usually do this while I'm soaking in the tub and it just gives me a nice refreshed feeling on my face.

Bath Balls - 4 for £12 plus the box which keeps them fresh and away from moisture in the air.

I went for a little colour theme by accident with my bath balls ha! These bath balls are awesome! They don't just change the colour of your water (like some other brands - no names no names!) they give off a lovely foam aswell. I recently used the 'calming aroma' bath ball which was a total dreamy bath time experience.

Balancing AromaFizz - this has actual rose petals in! 

Miss Patisserie is so wonderful and such a great addition to Cardiff independent shops. I can't wait to go back and explore it some more!

LUSH Father Christmas Bath Bomb

'Tis the season and all that so here is a little review of LUSH's ultimate festive bath bomb - Father Christmas*!

At first glance this bath bomb doesn't look exciting or anything special, little Santas face looks like he's been stuck in the snow for a while and knackered from making all those toys, but once it's in the bath theres an awesome festive treat:

It's Bright Greeen!!

The novelty of coloured baths does not wear thin on me one bit so as soon as I dropped him in the hot water and he started fizzing out green I was so excited for my neon bath!

Not only does it suprise you with the cool colour change it also have tons of bubbles too which most bath bombs don't produce - maybe it's his wicked beard?

The smell is basically Snow Fairy which is the most popular LUSH product ever, people literally buy tons of bottles in the 3 months it's around for. I usually wait until the Boxing Day sale and grab a small bottle for myself. I love the scent, it's sickly and it's sweet but it does grate on me after a while as I prefer deeper scents. But for this bath bomb the scent was like a lighter cotton candy version of Snow Fairy and was actually not that overpowering.

I also used my Miss Patisserie soap bar*, their website is all new and fancy now so I couldn't see it on there but I'm pretty sure it's a lavender based one and they have a lavender soap which is similar online now.

Miss Patisserie - A Bathers Dream.

It's no secret that I love a bath (see my latest Instagram post) and you may remember back along when I compared a local Cardiff brand Miss.Patisserie's bath bomb to a LUSH one for the perfect floral bath? Well today I'm back with showing off some more of my faves from Miss. Patisserie!

Milk Bath* - this is a soft buttermilk fine salt that you pop in the bath to help relax muscles and gently exfoliate skin. Apparently Cleopatra swore by it!

Pinktini Bubble Cup* - These little cut cupcakes are actually the ingredient to a massive bubbly bath!
You can either break them up or use the whole thing (like I did). This one is Pomegranate scented.

Frozen Blossom Bubble Cup* - A Tiani Flower scent with a hint of glitter, there is also cocoa butter to keep your skin smooth. The flower in this also looks gorgeous floating about.

Have you ever tried Miss. Patisserie?

I'm super in the mood for adventure at the moment or generally trying out new things and experiences! I've been looking on places such as Groupon etc... however not having much luck, any suggestions on things to get upto or place to look for new experiences?!
