Sanrio Hello Kitty Suprise Bath Bomb

Hello!

You may remember my video of my Asian Beauty Haul (click there if you haven't seen it yet!) from YesStyle, in which I was super excited over a couple of special bath bombs I had picked up.

The bath bomb I'm going to be showing off today is the Sanrio Hello Kitty bath ball in 'Strawberry Milk'.

As I mentioned in my video I actually just picked these up as I love all things Hello Kitty and only discovered upon it's arrival (and through guessing via images) that the bath ball actually contained a little Hello Kitty mystery charm!

I was SO excited by this so in she went!

And here she is!

I got the little HK sat in a teacup - how cutie!

As far as the bath bomb itself, it had a faint strawberry smell and left a light foam in the bath with a pinky tinge to it. I think it's definitely mean't for the novelty factor of getting a little charm in it so I added my own bubbles to the bath aswell.

I loved my little surprise and sadly they are no longer available on YesStyle so I think I was lucky to be able to try this beauty out by total fluke but I hope in the future I get to try my luck with another one.

LUSH Mother's Day Ladybird Bubble Bar - review.

LUSH Mothers day 2016 ladybird bubble bar

Hello!

On Monday I was invited over to the LUSH store in Cardiff to check out their Mother's Day and Easter collection to get ready for Spring to start (which I cannot wait for btw!). As usual I only took 1 photo during the event due to me being whisked away to check out all the new products and try a few out that I hadn't come across before.

I had been in the previous week to check out the Valentines stuff (see my last post) but I was too early for all the Easter stuff but did pick myself up the cutiest little Ladybird bubble bar which is part of the Lush Mother's Day 2016 range.

As always I had an amazing time at the event, was pampered by the beautiful sales people and spent lots of money (oops!). We were also very generously given gift bags which had a few of the new products inside including another Ladybird bubble bar! This was great as she looked so so cute that I couldn't stand to put her in the bath but now I have two - in she goes!

Now then, you might be thinking ' girl, why is she sat in a sieve?' BUT one of the Lush gurus gave me THE hottest tip! I was complaining about how I always burn my hands under the hot tap, trying to get as many bubbles as possible, so was told to buy a cheap sieve (for bubble bar use only) and just hold it under the hot tap for the bubbliest bath ever - and boy, she was not wrong!

The water poured out like pretty, pinky hair which in turn made me miss mine so much! Sadly, I just don't think I work the kinda job where I can get away with it anymore!

The smell this Ladybird gives off is just wonderful! Probably one of my faves I've tried in a long while. It contains peppermint oil which is always a huge hit with me and also geranium oil which has toning properties. The way the tub water went a gorgeous Strawberry red and the smell to go along with it has put this up there as one of my favourite bubble bars - I'm so sad she won't be around forever! The sweet yet fruity scent with a little hint of mint really comes out once you are in the bath. I was in there for a good hour and even afterwards it was all I could smell upstairs and on my skin.

The sieve was such a great idea too as I ended up with huge candyfloss looking mountains of bubbles which lasted the whole bathtime.

Have you tried this little lady yet?

Be sure to check out the Lush Easter 2016 range aswell and keep your eyes peeled on here for a review of some it soon ;)

On a different note, I am walking across hot coals in March to raise money for the cats in our care at work. If any of you reading this can even donate £1 it will help SO much more than you know! You can do so by visiting our JustGiving Page here: https://www.justgiving.com/BridgendCPfirewalk

or by texting 'CPFW70' followed by an amount (e.g '£1', '£5' etc) to 70070

Thankyou!

Miss Patisserie - Baths for Babes!

Oh hellloo!

This was a long time coming post. I've been so knackered on my days off and after work that I've been doing housework and sleeping pretty much!

Anyway I've raved about Miss Patisserie before HERE, they are a local bath and body company who are vegan, cruelty free and paraben free and now have their very own store in Cardiff! I have been there but totally forgot to take any pictures so hopefully I'll go back soon and take my camera for some snaps because it is SO lovely. It's so fresh and neat inside and the day I was in was when the two owners (a gorgeous looking husband and wife duo) were in and they are such lovely people too!

SO I thought I'd share my purchases with you guys today and talk a little about why I love them so much:

Coral Bay Body Scrub.
Walnut Stone Face Mask.
The Coral Bay body scrub smells like the original Issey Miyake perfume which is one of my faves. I love the little jar it's in, its great for keeping on the side of the bath without getting water in which is my bath pet hate! Besides it smelling absolutely wonderful it also leaves your skin feeling SUPER soft - like seriously soft! I usually find scrubs way too harsh but this leaves me so so soft.

The Walnut Stone face mask is made from Moroccan clay which helps brighten the skin. You just put a little of the powdered mask into a bowl and add a couple drops of water which turns it into the mask, leave it on for 20mins and then rinse it off. I usually do this while I'm soaking in the tub and it just gives me a nice refreshed feeling on my face.

Bath Balls - 4 for £12 plus the box which keeps them fresh and away from moisture in the air.
I went for a little colour theme by accident with my bath balls ha! These bath balls are awesome! They don't just change the colour of your water (like some other brands - no names no names!) they give off a lovely foam aswell. I recently used the 'calming aroma' bath ball which was a total dreamy bath time experience.

Balancing AromaFizz - this has actual rose petals in!

Miss Patisserie is so wonderful and such a great addition to Cardiff independent shops. I can't wait to go back and explore it some more!

Bathroom Accessories Haul and Bath Time Routine.

blogger bath time

Guten Tag!

I gave my bathroom a little re-fresh this weekend, just a few little bits that need updating after a while like bathmat etc... which I will show you in a second.

I love having a bath, I love pampering myself a little and just relaxing with a good book. I'm currently reading the book shown above 'Where are they buried? How did they die?' it sounds morbid as hell but it's actually very interesting. It's about celebrity grave-sites and gives a brief run down of their life, career and death also giving great directions to where they are buried and where their plot is located in the specific cemetery.

I bought my bathroom accessories from Tiger, I've featured them before HERE when they send me over some stuff to try out and have been hooked on their shop ever since, It's so cheap and so unusual and gorgeous! As well as the things below, I also got the bath mat pictured above and a toiler brush in a metal casing in the same colour theme (but ain't nobody want to see a picture of that!).

pastel cat door hooks Tiger
Cat Shaped Hooks - £1 each.
The colours go with the theme I was going for and, well, they are cat shaped!
Our hooks on the back of the door were old and falling out when we moved in so I replaced them with these.
Bath Head Rest - £2
This was in the colour I was going for and ESSENTIAL to bath-time relaxation! This is so much better than my old one as it was the little head hole bit so you fit in perfectly.
Bathtime isn't bathtime without a LUSH bathbomb! This is the Golden Wonder bathbomb that I got in the after-Christmas sale. It smells divine, the water goes that beautiful turquoise colour after exploding with bubbles of pink, green and yellow leaving you with a gold shimmer too!
Lights off, candles on!
My new fave is this gorgeous Wild Bluebell from Jo Malone that I got for Xmas, it's true luxury.

Don't get me wrong, I love to party and see my friends but right now in my life I feel like I'm kinda done with doing it every weekend and I'm a little scared my friend and I may be heading in different directions as partying most weekends is their bag. See, I'm a homebody at heart and call me as boring as you like but staying in is what I love! I love a good walk about in nature during the day or doing some chores and then sitting in at night, reading, practicing my wall hanging with a cup of tea, Netflix and candles on - oh and of course my snuggly Prince by my side. I feel maybe I'm a bit of a cross-roads in life with where I am and where I am going/want to be but I do know feeling awful with a hangover every Sunday is not where I want to be!

Anyway, I  hope you are having a great weekend, I've had such an exciting day that I had to have a 4 hour nap in between :p Also got the M&S 2 dine for £10 using a gift card I got for Xmas too which was lush!
