Flamingo Candles - The Melt Crowd.

Something exciting landed on my doorstep today, it was the first edition of the Flamingo Candles Melt Crowd!

I've never subcribed to any monthly boxes before so this was my first time and I had been ummin and arring it over for about a week before I commited. This is a monthly box of 8 of their scent melts (including a free wax burner with your first box), I've never tried scent melts before so this was also a perfect opportunity to try them - there are even Melt Crowd exclusive scents!

I've been a Flamingo Candles fan for a long while now, they are handmade in the UK, beautifully designed and are made using 100% natural soy wax. The actual Flamingo Candles smell divine so I really couldn't wait to get stuck into this box, to try all the scents for only £10 a month including delivery.

The free wax burner with your first box really sold it for me, I don't have a flat wax burner (mine is shaped like a cauldron...of course) and this one fits perfectly in with my decor and other trinkets I own.

I really cannot wait to try all 8 and with 30 hours burn time each I really can't see me even using all 8 before next months! As I'm typing this I've got the Melt Crowd exclusive scent 'Juicy Tangerine' which is filling my flat beautifully with a zesty scent that is perfect for this sunny day we are having!

Another bonus is you get a 20% code to use on the website for full size candles or to pick up your fave scent use again! Also the box fits perfectly into your letterbox (after your first one without the free wax burner) so no waiting around for the postman!

Flamingo Gifts

Hellooo!

I am so so excited to share this post with you all, as you may have noticed my obsession with homewares has been present on this blog since the very sweet beginning and only grown bigger! 

As soon as I spied Flamingo Gifts on my two fave blogs (Temporary Secretary and Sara Waiste) I fell in love, they sell little bits from different designers at super affordable prices. What drew me in was it reminded me of all the little stores I love back home in Devon that sell lots of different interesting pieces from all over, for example the Folklore Teapot, my Mum actually bought for me as a gift last year from a similar store and I really love the print on this - it's so me and hold so much tea!

So basically Flamingo Gifts got in touch and asked little ol' me to pick some of my faves from the website and they would send over a selection. I was so excited, I spent so long on the site and my list was definitely too long but there is so much cute stuff! Here is what I was sent (and so thankful for!):

Pyro Pet*
Ahhh I've been after a Pyro Pet candle for so so long! It's much bigger than I thought it would be which is a pleasant suprise. I haven't lit it yet as I love the shape of the cat but I also really wanna see the skeleton underneath!!

Folk Blue Owl Mug*
This mug is HUGE which is good because I only like massive cups of tea. The detail is gorgeous and the duck-egg colour is just my ultimate fave right now.

A couple other things I want to mention on their site that I adore/want/need:

There is a HUGE range of Flamingo Candles.
I'd never seen this Aromatherapy one before to help you relax - Lord knows I need this.
Plus I'm already a huge Flamingo Candle fan :)

A floor cushion shaped like a doughnut! Necessary? No. But I lovee.

This beautiful Trim phone would make such a great side-table piece. This day and age most people my age don't have house phones but you can definitely use it for decoration!

Best salt and pepper shaker I've seen. Hands. Down!

Flamingo Candles SS '14.

Howdy!

I've been feeling super tired this week and today have a serious headache but what better way to relax than slamming on some candles and putting my feet up! 

I was kindly sent this incredible pot of joy from Flamingo Candles from their new SS '14 range (they're not even in the online shop yet - but will be soon!) in the delicious, 'do I sniff this or eat it?' scent -Vanilla Milk Bottles.

Normally fancy candles smell great but when they burn you can't really smell them at all but these are made with EcoSoya wax which means they are 100% vegetable, cruelty free, wonderful smelling beauties! (You can see some more info on the making of the Flamingo Candles HERE). 

I am just in love with the thick jar they come in and the 3D Flamingo on the outside, the website has some amazing Flamingo Facts and also I urge you to Google the term 'Baby Flamingo' for the ultimate in cute!
