Be A Rebel Doll

Rebel Doll is the new collection from Miss Selfridge. It draws inspiration from the likes of the amazing Gwen Stefani and the girls of Clueless.

Now, I'm not really your typical girly-girl, I'm not big into my florals and stuff so this collection is the most perfect thing for me, here are my top picks:

Lace Pinnafore Dress - £45
This is my fave item out of the whole collection - it's very Cruel Intentions. This is the only thing thats caught my eye in a long time I've been pretty bored of clothes.
Check Crop T-Shirt Top - £32
There is also a wonderful matching skirt too.
Red Embellished Collar Dress - £49
I bet the fit of this on is gorgeous.
Grey Check Pleat Skirt - £35
Cord Triangle Pendant - £12

Petites Spotty Cutout Dress - £37
I love the cutout on this, so cute!

What do you think of this collection?

Miss Selfridge also have free UK delivery at the moment using the code: hellosunshine

They Love The Way That L.A.M.B Be Rollin' 'Cross My Shirt - outfit post.

I bought this just under a year ago (I did a post on it back then too, cannot believe my blog is nearly 1!) . I picked it up for £15 on eBay, the jacket has a distressed look and a fleece-feel inside which is just perfect for the little chill we have right now.

Humming Bird ring - was a gift for Christmas.
Nails - Miners Laguna Love.

I've been wearing this jacket everyday this week, channeling my inner-Gwen, curling my hair and keeping my lips red!

Hope you are all having a great week so far!

Ladies Who Inspire Me.

Hello!
First up sorry for lack of posting, the great Blogger tragedy of '11 which is going to be my best excuse.

Thought I'd do something a little different for my blog and show you all some of the amazing ladies who inspire me in my life daily.

Let's get this show on the road!

Gwen Stefani - I got into Gwen when I discovered No Doubt in about '96, a striking lady with a unique dress sense, it was idol at first sight! Since then we have seen SO many forms of Gwen and her amazing sense of style it's unreal (My personal fave was "Sweet Escape" Gwen). This picture was taken a few days ago so as you can see for 41 and 2 kids -  she is amazing!

Deborah Harry - Again I've always been a huge Blondie fan (influenced by my mum) and I get called 'Debbie' by EVERYONE! I put it down to being bright blonde and looking like a rockstar with an attitude ;).

Bethany Cosentino - She is a super cute girl who plays in an amazing band, loves cats and wears cute clothes. I want to be her.

Zooey Deschanel - My fave actress, she has a gorgeous, quaint style plus the most natural prettiness ever!  I love her smiley, kind sense and her beautiful singing voice.

Lady Gaga - Now Lady G gets alot of stick from alot of people about her style and blah blah BUT she provides strong messages which I think is great and the power she has to be able to help change is really something special. Plus I'm a sucker for her AMAZING body!

Nicki Minaj - Fierce as hell, I love Nicki, she knows how to make fun of herself, her style is really out there and her music makes for excellent woman-power! Plus if i ever get a boob-job I am taking a pic of Nicki in there! I kinda want to give this joint to Beyonce too, I am in love with that woman and her thighs.

Well I hope you enjoyed a little insight to my life. Which ladies style inspires you? I'd love to see some other posts like this too, so if you do one link me up in the comments!

L.A.M.B

I've been after the iconic L.A.M.B leopard print hooded jacket since it first came out, however it was selling for over $100.

So my day today was filled with pure joy when mine arrived in the post for the bargain price of - £15!

(image via:)
L.A.M.B is the fashion line of Gwen Stefani, standing for Love, Angel, Music, Baby (Gwens' Harajuku Lovers). It hit runways in 2004 and is still going strong.

The L.A.M.B fragrance remains my favourite fragrance ever - it's a shame it's been discontinued and even the company I work for has stopped stock of it :(

The whole jacket has a 'distressed' feel around the bottom and sleeves (don't worry it's supposed to!)
Inside is a fleece feel, so perfect for Autumn!

The L.A.M.B across the front and the Black Lamb logo are of a velvet feel.
As you can see mine needs a little scrub up but I can't wait to wear it!

"They love the way that L.A.M.B is rollin' 'cross my shirt!"
I couldn't resist the bargain and to sing that line over and over haha!

What designer bargains have you picked up recently? I have another one up my sleeve but still waiting for delivery so stay tuned!

P.s I know I said I might do a giveaway when I hit 75 followers - but I hit 75 today (which is amazing and I'm so happy!) SO I'm thinking if i can get 100 followers then I'll do a cool giveaway - so pretty please... go spread the word! x

New Sunglasses!

Ok, only a short post today as the 't' button on my Mac's keyboard has stopped working for no reason at all and I am currently copy&pasting the letter everytime I need to use it! Annoying!

So, with my new haircut I needed a new accessory to compliment the shape of the fringe and found these beauties on ASOS.com:

I've seen pairs like this on Gaga and Gwen Stefani - sooo of course I had to have them!

Sorry again for the short post, I'm going to try and sort this keyboard and you can expect a longer post from me tomorrow!

Peace x

Bunting + New hair!

I recently bought a new sewing machine ( a Jenome Mini), and also a whole load of fabric, what better way to enjoy this by making some good ol' bunting!

It was really simple to make, I just cut triangles out of a floral fabric measured and marked to 15cm across and cut to a triangle point at 7.5cm. The same again for the denim (which I sacrificed an old pair of shorts for!)

To finish off I just pinned the pompom trimming to the fabric and sewed along.

My mum displayed it in our kitchen (I felt like a 5 year old who had just come home from school with a drawing) - Please note the photo of Gordon Ramsey is NOT mine!

Recently my hair has been feeling a little lifeless due to bleaching and straightening, so I drew some 'Hairspiration' from my idols - Deborah Harry, Gwen Stefani and Lady Gaga, called up my lovely hairdresser Sophie and went for a full fringe chop!

This is it, I will probably tie is back most of the time like this until my layers mix in.

Not quite so fabulous but I love it anyway!

Have a great Thursday!
