Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

Hello!

I've just got home from being tattooed, when I get a good snap of it I will put it on my Instagram. Tomorrow I start my new job, I'm trying so hard not to nap now so I can get a good night's sleep to wake up early tomorrow!

Kelvingrove Gallery and Museum Glasgow

Whilst in Glasgow last week we visited the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, it's a huge, gorgeous red sandstone building just outside Kelvingrove park and the beautiful surroundings of the University which is such a grand building itself! As you can see above the main entrance hallway/ceiling is so grand and pretty.

There is loads to see and do in the Museum, alot about local history and local art, there is also a huge Egyptian section which is super interesting. There was an interest of mine that really stood out for me that there was SO much taxidermy! Alot of Dinosaur history and fossils and also a really sad bit about illegal poaching but mostly tons and tons of taxidermy of past and present Scottish wildlife:

taxidermy bear
stags fighting taxidermy

The museum holds an incredible Salvidor Dali piece called 'Christ of Saint John of the Cross'. The piece apparently came to Dali in a dream:

Camouflaged in the Jungle room. The whole room was like this and had the sounds and sights of the rainforest in it.

Have you been to Kelvingrove Museum before? I love a museum and spending a couple hours getting lost and learning some more!

Sparkly Clean House with Mopp!

I hate cleaning! So much, like I have to do it cus otherwise my house is gross but the motivation to do it is just not there - I'm far too busy for that! Once I get into the swing of it, it's not as bad as I built up, however I still detest it.

Mopp is an online cleaning service that allows you to book a cleaner in your area on a day and at a time that suits you. The cleaners are all pre-interviewed (via phone and face-to-face), my cleaner was Amanda - who was as Caaaiirdiff as they come and was lovely. I was offered a free 2-hour clean and as my flat is so small I didn't think it would take that long but it took up the whole 2-hours!

The detail was great, my oven was cleaned, floors all swept, tables polished and even my shower panel! To not clean myself was amazing and it is only £10 an hour for somebody else to do it for you. The only negative thing is the cleaners don't bring their own stuff so they use your products (I don't own many great ones) and cloths (Edit: I've been told for an extra £5 they do bring their own stuff which is great). Unfortunately for me my Liz Earle hot cloth was laying on the side by the sink and was used to clean my bathroom then thrown away - I know I can hear ladies gasping and weeping for me from here.
RIP Liz Earle hot cloth :(

Gleamin'!

If I ever have a spare £20 per week I'd probably get a fortnightly cleaner always.

Do you hate cleaning the house as much as me?

Mandala Print - outfit post.

The Past couple of weekends the weather has been so glorious here in Wales!

This outfit I wore out to Southern Down and Ogmore beaches during a little advenute in the sunshine. I wore a jacket but I had to take it off as it was super warm in the sun. We ended up in a beer garden and had a pub Sunday roast with a cider - it was lovely!

There We Were, Now Here We Are - outfit post.

Here we go, my first proper blog post for almost a year!

I've missed it alot and I know getting back into it won't be easy but I've spent a long time planning posts to keep a steady pace. I've still got a little bit of work to do, for example I really want to change my layout but I'm totally useless at technology (any pointers would be very much appreciated!).

Living in Cardiff now means I am surrounded by beautiful places to visit and go on long walks, I could walk around looking at nature and exploring for hours and hours. Also they make for interesting outfit post pictures, so here it goes...

Gethin Woods - Currently in the process of having a make-over for mountain bike trails so it's super peaceful.

Hat & Bag - H&M
Dress - Topshop
Parka - ASOS
Shoes - River Island.

My mum bought me this parka from ASOS for Christmas. I've never been so in love with a coat!
It has a detachable hood and fleece lining so it's good for all year round. Well done mum!

There are so many little streams all over the woodland, its super pretty even in Winter.

Writing our initials in the sludge. Very romantic :p.

Small Gold Orb Necklace - Vivienne Westwood.
Black Diamond Skull Necklace - Vivienne Westwood.

Thanks to anybody who still may be reading,  I can't wait to have a massive read of all my fave blogs too!

Hope you have a wonderful start to the week.
