Chi Chi Clothing Callie Dress - outfit post.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine - Mango.
Theres just something about Orange and Dark Blue that I love.
ChiChi Callie Dress.
When I saw the picture of this dress on the model (how stunning is she?!) I was instantly in love and gooey eyed - it's so cute!
I love how pretty the back of this dress is but the bow just would NOT sit straight! Maybe it had to do with that when the dress arrived as soon as I took it out of the packaging the button that pins it together rolled straight off so I had to get the sewing kit out - gutted!!
The top part is padded up so you don't wear it with a bra so you have the beautiful back to show off. I feel it's a little too padded for a small boob'd lady like me! I felt it made me look a bit puffed out.
All being said I do love the dress, it's so pretty and I bet on a taller more top heavy girl it would look amazing. I must say I did feel awesome in it like I was off to the prom. I never thought I could pull off this colour Blue either but turns out I LOVE it and now I want more of it in my life.

Some New Barry M - Reviews and swatches.

Over on Barry M's Facebook on Tuesday there was a special friends code for 30% off any order - ohh how could I say no!?

If it hasn't been VERY apparent (what with all my posts on the subject) I LOVE lipstick! So it would be wrong for me not to pick one up. I've never used Barry M lipstick before (or Lip Paint as they call it) so as a huge nail polish fan of theirs I decided to try:

The colour I picked up was the first I saw, a new colour named 'Pink Ribbon' , the others I kept seeing were nuts things like Robot Blue and that isn't for me!
£4.25 without discount.

Swatch: first one is two layers, second with only one layer.

Here is it on! It's just a plain simple pink which is nice for those days when I'm not into wearing alot of make-up.
It has good lasting power,  I can certainly see why they are called 'paints'

I'm a huge nail polish fan, especially Barry M, you can't go wrong it's cheap, it lasts and they have so many to chose from. Recently they bought out the 'effects' nail paint, which the world has gone nuts for (including me) but also 2 new A/W shades - 'Dusky Mauve' and 'Indigo'.

I only picked up one, and the one in question is the 'Dusky Mauve'. Apparently this is a dead ringer for the Chanel 'Particuliere' I got it wrong! Paradoxal! I've not tried the Chanel so can't say but plenty of reviews and bloggers claim it is.

As you can see it has a slightly bruised effect with a hint of mauve shimmer.

My room was so dark it was hard to get a good snap of this so:
Without flash
With flash.
You can kinda see the shimmer, it looks alot more purple in these pics, I'd say it's slightly browner.

Have you used any Barry M lip paints? What colours were good?

Barry M Instant Effects:

In my last post I had a few questions about my nails, this is what it is:

Its the new Barry M Instant Effects, how it works is you paint your nails then add a top coat of this black nail paint and BOOM within seconds its drys and cracks into some unique patterns.
It's £3.95 which isn't bad seeing as you only need one coat.

I used a gold base and it came out ACE! I love the whole Aztec, almost Giraffe print that came out.
For more swatches go to Who Is She??? and take a peek at all the different colours Ray used.

Like is said on Monday, I'm off to Manchester on Friday, any Manc area bloggers going to be out on the town Friday or Sat give me a shout on here or Twitter!
