Simple Halloween/Bonfire Night Make-up with MAC Cosmetics.

October and November are just the best seasons for me. I love to get dressed up all cozy, the sun shines but it's freezing cold and all the leaves change their colours which always looks super picturesque and beautiful. Oh and then there are also the two best nights of the year - Halloween and Bonfire Night!

I was sent some super sparkly, limited edition pretties by MAC Cosmetics. a few from their Le Disko range (anyone who knows me will know i'm a HUGE Disco fan) and a few from the MAC Is Beauty range. I figured that they would be perfect for some super simple looks for this season for those who don't want to go all out or those who just want to create a cute daytime look.

Dazzleshadow in 'Let's Boogie'
Cremesheen Glass in 'Japanese Spring'
MAC Le Disko lets boogie
'Let's Boogie' is a super beautiful dazzleshadow that has minimum fallout like I know alot of black shadows and especially glitter shadows can have. It goes on fairly light so you can layer up accordingly to how dark you actually want it, I decided to start dark and fade out without going too high up the lid and just added a little mascara and liner to give it a bit more gradient.

'Japanese Spring' is described as a dirty-pink which I LOVE and totally get. I reminded me alot of the old Lady Gaga Viva Glam lipglass, that kinda bluey-pink. I'm not a huge lipgloss fan but this was lovely and subtle and I just adored the colour and pairing it with the black.
Dazzleshadow in 'I Like 2 Watch'
Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in 'Brassy'
Amplified Lipstick in 'DIVA-ISH'
MAC Brassy eyeliner I like 2 watch le disko
I instantly fell in love with 'I Like 2 Watch' even in it's pot! It's a beautiful golden brown with yellow and green hints to it. The picture will never do it justice it is just gorgeous. Again there isn't much fallout - it was on my eyelashes but I loved it so never bothered to cover it with more mascara. I added 'Brassy' to my waterline and just a touch underneath too. Very Bonfire night!
'DIVA-ISH' is an intense fuchsia with a nice creme finish to it. I love a good pink and this definitely stands out from the crowd.

I had so much fun playing with these gorgeous products so now it's time to put them to good use!

I hope whatever you do for Halloween and Bonfire night you have a (safe) and awesome time :)

Party In The USA - outfit post!

So it's 'Pancake Day' today, not having any due to not being able to make them! I try everytime I get that pancake craving and they always fail! Sucks we don't have an IHOP here in the UK!

Anyway the sun has been shining down (although it's still cold!) and I am getting SO ready for the warm to come! In the meantime I will continue to dress for summer and stay indoors:

Boston Shirt - Topshop - $10 bargain.
USA Shorts - Topshop
Bikini - ASOS
Hair Bow - ASOS
Spike Rings - H&M.
Nails - M.A.C 'Formidable!'
You can see my leopard print bikini top clearer here, I did have a better picture but it just looked like I was showing off my boobies!

I kinda hate this shirt 'cus it makes me look chunky as hell (I hate my arms!) but on the other hand I love it, I got it in Topshop NY for $10 - how could I say no?!

Well I hope you all had some scrummy pancakes - do think of me without!

The One That Got Away - outfit post!

This is what I wore yesterday, me and my BFF went out for food and cinema for some Ashton Kutcher eye candy ;)

We saw 'No Strings Attached', I'm really not into the whole romantic-comedy genre but this film was actually really funny. I may be bias as I LOVE Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher is mmmm hott, plus it also had Kelly from The American Office in it which anyone who follows me on Tumblr or Twitter knows I'm a nut for!

Blouse - New Look £18 (I get discount as I work next door).
Peg-Legs - Zara £30 + belt.

I kept my make-up to a minimum just wearing heavy eye-liner on the top lid and a Bobbi Brown lipgloss.
Necklace is from Topshop.

Owl Ring - H&M
Nail Polish - The One That Got Away - Katy Perry for OPI.

In other news I updated my blogroll list (to the left there, you see it?) and also got some really exciting news - I am now an Aussie Angel! I'm part of the 'Aussome Volume Tribe' so look out for that!

Hope your week is going smoothly!

MAC Viva Glam - Lady Gaga Lipglass.

I'm back! I had a great time in Manchester seeing my family, friends, shopping and getting drunk with Drag Queens and unfortunately I have to come back to reality (which I currently hate), so I'm feeling a little uninspired.

Last time I was uninspired I posted about my MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga lipstick  and when we were in Manchester my mum treated me to the new Viva Glam Gaga lipglass to match my fave lippy! I bought loads when I was up there but will save this for other posts, here is my lipglass:

As you can see the box is almost the same as the lipstick with the Gaga signature on it.

It keeps to the lipsticks pink/blue colour which I adore.
Also we mustn't forget that 'every cent of the selling price' of the Viva Glam range goes to the MAC AIDS fund.

It gives exactly the same colour but its shiny so great for keeping lips moist in the Winter time, and lets face it it's freaking cold out there now!!

I must also add one of my favourite parts of my trip was eating in Tampopo. I love all things noodles so this was a treat as we don't have one down here in boring old Devon - plus you get free mints:

Don't forget to enter my giveaway if you havn't already - click HERE! I've been really busy and stressed so lacked on the replying to comments (I won't for this post, promise!) and checking out new followers so I am really sorry and will do that later in the week!

Hope your weekend has been awesome, what did you get upto?

MAC Viva Glam - Lady Gaga Lipstick.

I've had such a busy week with work, planning for Paris and the stress of my car, Troy, collapsing on me, that I've been feeling a bit...uninspired.
So to cheer myself up and get the inspiration flowing, I thought why not share one of my favourite things with my lovely blog readers!

My MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga lipstick is my favourite lipstick, not only is it fronted by Lady Gaga, with her signature scribbled on the base, but the colour is amazing and packaging looks great.

It's described as a lustre blue-pink,
I'd say it would possibly suit fair skinned/blonde people as a light pink can often wash out darker hair and complexions.

Not only is the colour gorgeous but MAC's Viva Glam give "every cent of the selling price" to the MAC AIDS Fund - a cause which I support fully.

First swatch is of one layer, 2nd is of 4.
Apparently the more you use it, the brighter it gets!

I love the colour, it's great for a daytime look and it stays on the lips for ages!

What colour lipsticks do you use? Which is your favourite?
Don't forget my next post will be my giveaway and I have a little collection of things ready and waiting!

Bourjois Lovely Brille Lipshine - Review and Swatches.

First of all I think this lipstick is no longer stocked in stores BUT I bought mine online (from cheapsmells.com) for £1.99 each - which seeing as I usually pay anything from £5 upwards for lipstick, is a BARGAIN!

The only downside to online shopping is you can't test it on your skin, but at £1.99 I wasn't too fussed so long as the colour looked good to begin with, plus thats where I come in (for 2 shades at least!).

First up: 04 Rose Croisette

First of all I just have to point out what an amazing idea it is to have a mirror on the lid - genius!
The picture actually doesn't do this justice, it's quite a bright rose-pink that is shimmery in the light.

As you can see it comes out on the hand very light and quite sheer, so depending on how bright you like it you'd need to add a couple of layer to this.

However on the lips it actually brightens up and blends in well with the natural lip colour, also the shimmering come out giving it a nice gloss effect.

I'd actually compare this to a lighter, less thicker version of my favorite lipstick - the MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga.

Next up: 05 Corail des mers

A nice bright red shade, this one does have that shimmery effect in it but you can only really see it in the light.

Shows up nice and bright on the hand but again if you want it brighter you going to have to layer up, which is great for a day to night look.

This one actually shows up great, it is a bright red however it's subtle enough for work or school and other daytime uses. I love my red bright but this is perfect for summer.

Phew!
That's all today, thankyou to all my new followers I really appreciate you taking the time to read my blog!
Also I've only just worked out how to get email notifications for comments so I'll be able to reply faster and easier now :)
