Hello £5 for a cute little smock dress! Thankyou Primark.
Also the grey T-shirt high-neck dress was only £8 in Primark too.

I was dead pleased with all my purchases, it felt nice to actually buy new clothes instead of feeling insecure in my current ones.

In other news I went to see The Prodigy on the weekend which was so good! Despite not being able to get wasted due to work at 8am the next morning, I still danced hard with my pals but was home before midnight! :)

I have some exciting news coming up soon, I'm just waiting for some confimations and things to go through before I reveal all (if you follow me on Twitter you may already have guessed!) but watch this space ;)

Hope you are having a great week!

Green Means Go - outfit post.

Tomorrow I am off to London for a few days with my beloved. Anyone have any recommendations of fun/cheap/free things to do? I have a few museums I'm going to check out, I haven't been to London for about 3 years so I'm super excited!

Here is my outfit from yesterday, it was such a sunny but windy day and now I've seen lots of people getting snow again - crazy weather!

Skater Dress - Topshop.
(I also have it in grey - see it HERE)
Prince is unimpressed by my squidging him.
These little dresses are my fave, I love wearing them out or in, fancy or not fancy - they work and they are so comfy!
For the life of me I cannot remember where or how I got this ring. It's from TattyBon!
But what is better than a glittery kitty?!

Also I'm selling some items on eBay - you can see them HERE  :)

Hope your week is going great!

Cemetery Polka - outfit post.

I'm really missing the sunshine at the moment, there's been snow, hail and mental thunderstorms over here in Cardiff all in the past week which makes for going out for walks and trips a right pain!

Luckily there was a one day gap where the sun came out and the weather wasn't too bitter for a stroll around Cathays Cemetery. I've had a morbid curiosity since I was young but It's such a peaceful place to go for a walk, there are different sections (including a huge Victorian area) and it's one of the largest cemeteries in the UK.

River Island Glittery T-shirt.
Vivienne Westwood Orb necklace.
H&M Stag Head necklace.
H&M Studded bag
River Island sneaks.
Would totally put these mad spikes all around my grave site too.
My hair has been driving me crazy this week, I've resorted to keeping it up but I am definitely over due a chop in the next week or so!

What did you get upto on the weekend? Missing the sunshine yet?

The One That Got Away - outfit post!

This is what I wore yesterday, me and my BFF went out for food and cinema for some Ashton Kutcher eye candy ;)

We saw 'No Strings Attached', I'm really not into the whole romantic-comedy genre but this film was actually really funny. I may be bias as I LOVE Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher is mmmm hott, plus it also had Kelly from The American Office in it which anyone who follows me on Tumblr or Twitter knows I'm a nut for!

Blouse - New Look £18 (I get discount as I work next door).
Peg-Legs - Zara £30 + belt.

I kept my make-up to a minimum just wearing heavy eye-liner on the top lid and a Bobbi Brown lipgloss.
Necklace is from Topshop.

Owl Ring - H&M
Nail Polish - The One That Got Away - Katy Perry for OPI.

In other news I updated my blogroll list (to the left there, you see it?) and also got some really exciting news - I am now an Aussie Angel! I'm part of the 'Aussome Volume Tribe' so look out for that!

Hope your week is going smoothly!

To Keep or Not To Keep?

I need some help! My dress that I LOVE from THIS post is ripping up the back and I don't want it to rip when I'm out and totally embarrass me.

So I bought a new similar dress from ASOS, what I want is your opinions, I think it makes me look bigger than I am, it makes my boobs look big when they aren't and also my hips but thats the point I guess, also do I wear a belt? Please help! To keep or not to keep?:

With a black and gold belt...

Just with a necklace...

I shall thankyou in advance! And if the hunt for a new dress is on the cards then do you know of any similar to THIS one?

Much love

Wildlife Explorer Chic.

For this outfit post I channelled the little boy from the Disney film 'Up!', the outfit is actually a bit of a H&M fest as you will see:

I bought the shorts, scarf and brooch whilst in Manchester 2 weeks ago.
Also a BIG thankyou to the amazing Victoria for editing my pics for me because I'm so thick!
Hi-Waisted Camel Shorts H&M - £19.99
Black Top H&M - £2.99
Aztec Scarf River Island - £6
Squirrel Brooch Miss.Selfridge - £2
Cardigan H&M - £24.99
Yes my animal obsession continues! He was only £2 how could I say no?!

The reason I said I felt like the little boy from 'Up!' is because the shorts are Hi-Waisted and a Kaki-Camel colour plus I wore my little Squirrel badge so I felt like a child again going for a bit of an explore - all I needed was a backpack!

I went to see 'The Social Network' last night, I did enjoy it I wouldn't go as far as alot of the reviews and say it's the best movie of the year but nevertheless it was enjoyable. My only complain is Justin Timberlake needs to get back to singing and cut his hair - It's very *Nsync circa 1999.
Have any of you seen it? What did you think?

Hope you are all ready for Halloween, I'm so excited I can't wait to post pics of my outfit (fingers crossed it looks good!).

Rachel Berry Chic.

I'm not sure how many of you will know who Rachel Berry is (if not then where have you been!?) so for those of you who don't she is the lovable yet annoying, geeky fame-hungry main character from the TV show Glee!

I actually own this top (via:)

Now Glee is one of, if not, my favourite shows. Every single day I wait for people around me to spontaneously burst into song and dance so I can join in and live in my ultimate dream world. I really want to join a Glee club but the fear of rejection holds me back, plus the thought of not having Finn for eye candy makes it not worth my time. Not only is Glee musical but also very funny mainly down to Sue Sylvester - the bitter cheerleader coach, played by Jane Lynch.

SO I decided to take a little bit of geek chic inspiration from Rachel Berry:

High waisted skirt - Primark
Cropped jumper - Primark (about 4 years ago!)
Leather flats - River Island
Duck facing and loving my new tripod
Other guilty pleasures include: Real housewives of New Jersey and DC , Jersey Shore, RuPaul's Drag Race and Drag U, Desperate Housewives and LA Ink.
I do not feel guilty for loving Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development.

What are your guilty pleasures?

What I wore - Schools Out.

Yesterday I had the day off, and my tripod came! But as a novice I wasn't so great at taking pics so here it is... what I wore yesterday - School Girl Inspired!

I wore black tights with heels (pictured later on), plain black shorts,
a grey top with a white collard shirt underneath and my new cardigan.

Shorts - Primark
Heels - New Look
Top - Primark
Cardigan - Zara

The cardigan I bought last Monday, is a chunk knit with teacher elbow pads!
£39.99 Zara.

I had painted my nail black so I accessorised with this
silver spike stud ring.
£2.99 H&M

Without the cardigan.
Yes I am wearing Silly Bandz, keepin' it skool style!

These are my brogue style heels I paired with the outfit.
£25 - New Look

In other news - I did it! I reached 100 followers SO on Friday I will be setting up the give-away, I've been spending alot of time thinking about what to add to the bits I've already got and I'm excited!
Thanks to all my lovely followers for following and the comments!
