Urban Outfitters Homeware Dreams

Hello!

This past weekend I went camping for my two friends wedding up in a forest. It was the BEST weekend ever, basically with all my best pals having fun and celebrating. Sadly I came back with a 24hour-ish bug that has wiped me out and kept me off work for a couple of days which suck as most of you know how much I love my job. I've only just started eating again, becoming non-delirious and getting more energy.

In this time I've binge watched Orange is the New Black. Never even thought about watching it before but it's actually pretty good!

With my mind off sleeping and sickness, I've also been wasting time browsing homeware (for a change) in prep for the big move. Here are my fave picks from Urban Outfitters who also happen to have a massively tempting sale on right now:

Cat Stamp Rug - £8 (was £15)
This has JUST gone down in the sale. I love it so much when I sort my finances I am def grabbing it!

Large Round Mirror - £35
Love this mirror!

Species by the Thousand Room Spray - £9 (was £18)
I've been after a Species by the Thousand apothecary piece for so long and now it's half price! This 'Protection' spray wards away negativity.

Coral Shelf - £10 (was £20)
This colour is so so cute! Such an unusual shelf :)

Palmistry Print - £10 (was £25)
Another sale item, this would look awesome in my dining room area!

'S' Letter Lamp - £50
This is pretty cheap seeing as most of these letter style lamps go for tons on other sites. I love anything with my initial on - def a bedroom or office piece!

Make Your Own Terrarium.

Hello!

You may remember in a recent post of mine where I featured Urban Outfitters Grow collection that I featured the cutie Make Your Own Terrarium kits.

Last week UO had a 25% discount code over the weekend which I took full advantage of and bought myself this little beaut:

Make Your Own Terrarium - Deer.

Here is what you get in your mason jar:

Pebbles, moss, a flower, a mushroom and a plastic deer.

You have to add your own plant and soil. I was going to add a cute plant however I know that I don't get much sunlight in my flat so had to have a low maintenance plant and what better than a cactus?! (p.s you can check out my cacti collection here...)

Then it was just a case of arranging the props, here is the finished thing:

He is so cute there! I adore the tiny mushroom it's perfect.
I've place my first terrarium proudly on my living room table with my other cacti and miscellaneous items.

Urban Grow.

Good Evening! 

Today I want to share some little gems I've come across via the Urban Outfitters homeware section as part of Urban Grow which is all about indoor gardening (my fave): 

Large Cactus Planter.
Everything about this is perfect! I love how huge it is and how it fits thin plants in it looks awesome.

Cat Strawberry Planter.
This is probably my favourite thing in the world ever, you fill the cup with water and the fabric tail soaks up water to feed the Strawberry plant in the kitty's backpack :')

Dolphin Watering Can.
This is so fun! There is also a duck, pig, hippo and poodle!

Lavender Egg Planter.
This cutie egg also comes in Mint and a Cactus. You simply crack the eggs top, water and wait for it to grow. I love the smell of Lavender ♥!

Make Your Own Terrarium.
This is so so perfect! A mini terrarium. I love this little deer version. 

Two-Tone Planter.
This huge gorgeous planter would look amazing in a corner of a room. 

Diamond Terrarium.
I'd love this huge terrarium - I'd do it up so well ;)

What do you think? I lovee home-plant accessories! With this weather its so hard to get out into the garden to do anything and as soon as it rains the weeds just grow up again! Hopefully next time I move I will have loads of natural light (my biggest issue at the moment!) so I can have tons and tons of indoor plants!

Five Things Wishlist.

I used to always do these posts I love making little wish-lists of things I want/can't afford:

I love this colour but there is no way it would suit my pale skin and white hair, boo hoo :(

It's starting to get so cold out I've been wearing a little bobble hat all week, I loved these headbands last year but never picked one up.

You Are A Tourist - moving day post!

Hey everyone!

As I said before I am moving up to Cardiff as of next week so I will be without internet for a couple weeks. I will be coming back to my mums for one night so will try and schedule a few things but I have no time at all to take outfit pics so please bear with me! 

I just thought I'd share with you a couple new things I've picked up to take with me:

Urban Outfitters Jacquard rug. Unfortunately my kitty Pippa can't come with me but will be staying with my mum. I will miss her SO much but will see her everytime I come home.

Mushroom salt n' pepper pots. Bought from eBay.

Urban Outfitters Anchor Bath slip-mat. In the sale and very me!

As soon as I sort everything out I will do a post having a nosy round my new place, I'm excited but also nervous.

Things I Loved This Week.

Been a super busy week for me, won't go into too much detail but I'm going to get right into this, here we go the things I've been saving to my favorites this week:

Beyonce in July's Dazed and Confused. Her new album "4" is amazing, a bit different for Bey and took me a while to get into but it's really grown on me. She is the flawless Queen of the Universe.

Cat pillow covers - Urban Outfitters. Love cats, love sleeping, what else do I need to say?

Bird Print Jumper - ASOS. Really been into wearing jumpers/shorts combo again since the weather hasn't made its mind up this week!

Matte Nude Glitter nails - These are my attempt at a photo I've seen floating around Tumblr this week (but for the life of my cannot find now!) I used Nails Inc Elizabeth Street, NYC Starry Silver and Rimmel Matte Topcoat.

Lady Gaga's crazy turquoise mermaid hair. Love her, love this hair, love this outfit, I really hope she announces a UK tour soon!

Lapis Lazuli Gemstone Ring - I bought from an eBay seller but it appears to have been the last one so I can't link you! It's awesome!
